The Northeastern Center also known as NEC is a group of 5 outpatient centers, an inpatient center, and an administrative center all located at different locations all over Indiana. this center treats mental health patients. They have an intensive outpatient program which utilizes evidence based treatment when it comes to treating patients, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical behavioural therapy are coupled with both individual and group therapy things are made easier for the patients’ speedy recovery. 12 step recovery treatment is used at this facility. NEC is a very affordable choice for outpatient therapy. Mental health problems like grief, anxiety, loss, stress management, and anger. Dual diagnosis treatments are available at the center to help patients who suffer from co-occurring disorder, Detox is done for patients who require it. There is a new telemedicine option where patients who call in are delivered healthcare service online through a video conference call between the client and a specialist, with these patients who are bound by distance are easily reached and treated just with a call. Staff at the facility are on 24hour call. Psychological care is provided round the clock and the staff along with the community strive to give patients the best care available to them.

Housing and Food at NEC

The center has different locations and as such all centers are available for treatment of any patient registered in the program. The facilities are designed to support home visits from family members There are recreational centers available in the facilities for patients to get a good exercise and relax when they wish to. The center is open from 8am to 5pm each day, treatments are available round the clock with an emergency service already in place for such occasions. There are 240 staff members at NEC, ranging from the CEO, medical directors, and the nurses at the facility. Meals are served thrice a day and snacks are also available. There is a clubhouse that helps the mentally ill with social interaction.
