Located in the city of Denton, Texas, Solutions of North Texas is an organization which provides various treatment services for men and women dealing with chemical dependency and substance abuse issues who need assistance and support on their way to recovery. The organization began in 2009 as a 10-bed men’s residential recovery program but has since expanded to include more than 40 beds for both men and women in need of recovery. The facility offers treatment for not just individuals but families in search of long-term recovery. The center provides a family services program on the basis that addiction is a family issue. Families participating in the program are involved in weekly meetings, drug/alcohol screening, case management, and accountability for one another. The facility has various treatment staff consisting of counselors, intake coordinators, case managers, and many more. The counselors incorporate the 12-step philosophy into the treatment curriculum and the treatment approach at the center is usually carried out by the use of empirically based counseling treatment. Additionally, the center designs customized treatment plans to benefit each individual struggling with addiction and helps them practice self-sufficiency and accountability. Intensive and supportive outpatient programs and residential programs are some of the levels of care offered at the facility.
Accommodation & Food
The female residential treatment units are in a nearby residential neighborhood while male residential facilities are situated on the five-acre campus. The residential facility at Denton, Texas can accommodate 32 men and 18 women. The women’s residential center, Kathy’s House, has six bedrooms and can accommodate up to 13 persons. Clients stay in semi-private bedrooms, with two people usually sharing a bedroom. Male residents may either stay in Seth’s House or Jerry’s duplex. Jerry’s House is a duplex with two units where each unit has three bedrooms, with residents sleeping three to a room. Each unit also has a bathroom. Seth’s House can accommodate up to 24 persons and has six bedrooms with four people typically sharing a room. The houses have flat screen TVs and all the housing units have spacious communal areas.
The facility provides food for all the houses although residents often learn to cook meals by themselves and meals are sometimes prepared together for the house.

Intensive Outpatient Program
This program is ideal for persons who do not want to commit to a residential setting but still need to recover from substance addiction. The program utilizes the 12-step principles of spiritual and emotional growth and addresses all aspects of recovery including life skills, civic responsibility, relapse prevention, and more. Patients will also partake in individual sessions with a licensed clinician so as to determine their needs and design a treatment plan.

Scott is one of the pioneer staff and founder of Solution of North Texas and has over 20 years of experience working with individuals suffering from mental health and substance abuse issues. He is passionate about helping clients as he has experienced first-hand how addiction caused the untimely death of his close friends and bandmates as he used to pursue a music career.
Admissions Director
Leslie went to the University of Texas where she earned a certification in Nonprofit Management and has been working with the facility for over ten years. She brings knowledge and experience to the facility in business accounting, strategic planning, procurement, and more as she is from a project management background.
Operations Director
Jason holds a degree in music from the University of North Texas and has played with several award-winning artists all over the country. Being a survivor of addiction himself, he is very passionate about helping other individuals find peace of mind and obtain full recovery.
