Overview of Christian Farms – Tree House

Christian Farms – Tree House was established in 1970 as a Bible-based program for men. With time, it expanded to become a long-term residential treatment center for men and women suffering from substance abuse and alcohol addiction. It is a non-profit organization whose treatment programs are based on the foundations of Christian principles and the 12-Steps of AA. As part of treatment, all clients are expected to have a firm belief in God with the assurance that only with their own efforts and Godโ€™s can they come out of this difficult situation.
Clients are expected to adhere by the Christian teachings and a solid promise to abstain from substances throughout their lives. The center offers a residential program that may be of different duration for each individual. Each new client is assessed at the time of admission and a corresponding treatment plan is devised for him/her based on the type and severity of addiction and other factors. A number of therapies are utilized as part of treatment including 12-step meetings and spiritual guidance from chaplains. Clients are also educated about addiction and relapse prevention to help them stay sober throughout their lives. Clients are also taught about healthy boundaries and communication techniques as part of anger management and domestic violence support groups.

Our son has been addicted to Adderall for many years and has finally taken the first step to get himself sober after many hospitalizations due to delusions and psychosis. He is on Medicaid and needs education and support as he goes through withdrawal. What options do you have available and what are the costs? Thanks Andy & Marsha
