With the goal of assisting Minnesota children and their families in overcoming drug and alcohol addiction, Maple Lake Recovery Centers provides specialized substance abuse recovery programs for adolescents ages 13 to 18. These programs combine professional therapeutic services with a 12-step framework. Rule 25 money is available to pay for treatment expenditures for people who meet the eligibility requirements; however, it does not cover prescription drugs or medical care. Despite not providing free medical care, Maple Lake Recovery Centers aims to provide as many teenagers with access to their programs as they can.
