Residents of New Mexico looking for assistance with drug abuse or in need of referral have the option of calling any drug addiction recovery hotline listed below. Experienced counselors, psychiatrists, and other professionals are on standby to help.

The New Mexico Crisis and Access Line (NMCAL)

This is a drug crisis hotline for residents of New Mexico who are either victims themselves or know someone who needs counseling support in combating substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, and other behavioral problems. It is a toll-free 24/7 line. 1-855-NMCRISIS (662-7474). The TTY number is 1-855-227-5485.

Agora Crisis Center

This toll-free 24-hour addiction helpline. People experiencing crises such as suicidal thoughts, depression, addiction, and other related issues can call 1-866-HELP-1-NM. Trained drug addiction hotline volunteers are waiting to assist. The TTY number is 1-866-435-7166.

Crisis Response of Santa Fe

This is the Mental Health and Substance Abuse State Authority hotline for New Mexico offering professional counseling and support in areas such as compulsive gambling, substance abuse, and mental illness. Their free phone counseling hotline is available 24 hours a day on (888) 920-6333.

New Mexico Department of Health

This substance abuse helpline is for victims of tobacco smoking and addiction. It gives them the support they need through sessions with trained quit coaches. The hotline also has specialized services targeting the young and expectant women. The toll-free number is 1-800-QUIT NOW (1-800-784-8669). TTY: 1-877-777-6534.
