Almost 10,000 individuals are admitted to rehab centers in Nevada each year. Many more suffer from both alcohol and drug addictions. Several free hotlines numbers are available that offer telephonic counseling and refer a person in need of an appropriate facility where they will obtain help.

JTNN Substance Abuse Helpline

JTNN, or Join Together Northern Nevada, has a 24-hour counseling hotline that provides assistance for alcohol abuse, as well as drug addiction. ย JTNN also offers referrals to treatment facilities that are available in Nevada. Calls are taken at any time of the day or night. Their helpline is toll-free and can be reached at 800-450-9530.

Nevada 2-1-1 Free Phone Counseling Hotline

A service initiated by the state to provide individuals who suffer from a substance abuse disorder a confidential addiction helpline that they can reach to when they need help. The hotline also provides advice, referrals, and other services to family members and friends of an addict. Local residents may dial 2-1-1 to reach this hotline.
