The following drug help hotlines are available for residents in Alabama who desire to receive treatment for alcohol or drug abuse, would like to get additional information on specific substances, or look for a free intervention for their loved ones.

Alabama Department of Mental Health and Recovery

The Alabama Department of Mental Health and Recovery offers free information on substance abuse and treatment and provides access to rehab and treatment. Connect with them on the drug crisis helpline 1-844-307-1760.

National Clearinghouse for Alcohol & Drug Information

The National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information provides free counseling and treatment advice for individuals seeking information on drug and alcohol addiction. The National Abuse Hotline is 1-877-726-4727. There is also a toll-free national addiction hotline 1-800-487-4889 available.
