Residents of Massachusetts who struggle with substance addiction can get the help needed by dialing the following substance abuse hotlines.

Massachusetts Substance Use Hotline

Massachusetts Substance Use Helpline provides data and resources for finding drug and alcohol abuse, treatment services, and centers. The specialists provide free, confidential information on substance abuse treatment options and referrals in any language. Call the abuse hotline on 800-327-5050 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM Mondays-Fridays, and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturdays-Sundays.

Mass-2-1-1

Mass 211 provides callers with information on critical health and human services in Massachusetts. It provides consultations on addiction crisis, emergency treatment services, counseling, and providing appropriate referrals. ย The drug crisis hotline is available 24/7 with immediate response in a crisis. Dial 2-1-1 or call the toll-free help hotline number on 877-211-MASS (6277). For persons with hearing impairment, call 508-370-TTY.
