About Juliette

Juliette has been working in the health communications field since 1991, when she began working at the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Her initial campaigns focused on smoking cessation and cancer prevention. Juliette later moved to the corporate side of health communications, including working at Kaiser Permanente, where she designed interactive computer-based training for health education.

In 2005 in Madrid, Spain, she launched ServingMed.com, medical editing, writing, and translating business. ServingMed.com is now based in the Netherlands and has staff of 4 writers. Juliette and her team create health education materials for patients and for health professionals on medical websites such as MTVIR.com and Comprehensive Interventional Care Centers, both interventional radiology practices that include chronic pain treatments, and Cross Country Cardiology, a cardiology practice.

She has also written for HealthGuidance.org, OpenHealth.com, UtmostMe.com, and many other sites on topics ranging from substance use and abuse, health promotion and disease prevention, and chronic and acute illnesses.
