About us

The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, Florida, is a comprehensive behavioral health and medical facility offering inpatient psychiatric treatment and outpatient substance abuse treatment for both adults and children. Outpatient care levels include a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Inpatient treatment begins with stabilization and detoxification. Following this initial phase, patients engage in group and individual counseling sessions, and meet regularly with a psychiatrist. The program also includes illness education, anger management, and goal setting, with a strong focus on developing effective communication and coping skills as well as anger management strategies. The Vines Hospital is committed to providing a structured and supportive environment for recovery, addressing both psychiatric and substance abuse needs comprehensively.

The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at The Vines Hospital operates five days a week, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. This full-day program includes weekly check-ins with a psychiatrist, group therapy sessions, 12-step meetings, and education on medication management. Additionally, it focuses on trauma resolution.

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a part-time recovery track with group therapy sessions held three times per week, each lasting three hours. This program emphasizes developing coping skills, self-control, expressive therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.

While The Vines Hospital aims to provide comprehensive care, some former clients have expressed dissatisfaction with the treatment and the facility’s appearance, and others have felt confined within the facility.
