Stepping Stone, a program provided by Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare, offers comprehensive addiction treatment services in Evansville, Indiana. Serving adults with a range of substance use disorders, Stepping Stone provides both residential and outpatient services designed to support clients through every stage of their recovery journey. Payment options are flexible, including self-payment, private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and the Healthy Indiana Plan. For eligible clients, sliding fee discounts are also available.
The residential facility at Stepping Stone is a co-ed building that accommodates up to 32 clients at a time. It provides an intensive treatment environment where clients typically stay for three to four weeks. During their stay, clients participate in a structured daily schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., engaging in individual, family, and group counseling sessions, life skills training, addiction education classes, and peer support groups. Additionally, clients are introduced to local self-help groups, facilitating their integration into supportive community networks. For those who require detoxification before commencing other treatment services, Stepping Stone offers medically supervised detox.
Once clients are ready to transition to a lower level of care, Stepping Stone collaborates with them to create a personalized outpatient treatment plan. Outpatient treatment typically spans 21 to 28 days and involves regular counseling sessions to monitor and support recovery progress. This continuum of care ensures that clients receive consistent and tailored support as they move towards sustained sobriety.
Former clients of Stepping Stone often recommend the program, highlighting the dedicated and compassionate staff who are genuinely committed to supporting individuals through their recovery.
