About us
The Redwood City, California-based Our Common Ground (OCG) provides full treatment services for adults (18 and up) who are having problems with mental health or drug use disorders. The facility focuses on healing the whole person, including their mental and physical health, as well as their schooling and readiness for work. OCG is a helpful and welcoming place where people from all walks of life can work together.
OCG has many programs, such as a residential treatment program that lasts 30 to 90 days, a day treatment program, outpatient services, recovery homes, and transitional housing. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), rage management, conflict resolution, trauma-informed care, and family counseling are some of the treatment methods they use that have been shown to work. One unique thing about OCG is that it offers specialized services for trauma using a model called Strength Based Therapeutic Community, which focuses on group support and personal growth. Because OCG is a non-profit, it is approved by the right health officials. This means that it provides high-quality care and is dedicated to its clients’ well-being.
