New Hope Carolinas is a psychiatric residential treatment center for teens and young adults that is based in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. New Hope Carolinas treats people aged 12 to 21 in residential treatment as a journey that includes the whole family. This encourages a supportive and team-based approach to recovery and growth. The center uses a variety of therapies that have been shown to work to meet the needs of its residents. The main types of therapy used to treat a wide range of mental and behavioral problems are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT). Along with these treatments, the center puts a lot of effort into teaching sexual health, building resilience, showing how to use the social psychology of gender, and mentoring young people to help them develop their own protective factors and life skills.
New Hope Carolinas also has the Learning Enhanced Autism Program (LEAP), which helps young men with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their problems by giving them personalized support and care. New Hope Carolinas is committed to keeping high standards of care and giving teens a safe, caring place to heal and grow. It is accredited by the Joint Commission.
