Mental health and substance use disorders are treated at the Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center (CMHC). The center is a certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that offers a range of programs that are trauma-informed, culturally competent, and combined to meet the needs of children, teens, adults, soldiers, and families. Inpatient and outpatient Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) is one of many treatment choices available at the center, which makes sure that healing is approached from all angles. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), couples and family therapy, group therapy, integrated dual disorders treatment, solo psychotherapy, and trauma-focused therapy are some of the types of therapy that the center offers. Jim Taliaferro CMHC is dedicated to providing ongoing support, so its staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet the needs of all of its clients.
