The Hamilton Center, Inc. is in Brazil, Indiana and helps adults, kids, teens, and families with a wide range of mental health issues. Their trauma-informed, individualized care focuses on using proven methods to create treatment plans that are focused on the person. The center provides a wide range of services to deal with different mental health and substance use issues, making sure that everyone who needs it gets the right amount of care.
The facility has a lot of different programs, such as detoxification services, intense outpatient programs, transitional living, peer recovery, and residential and inpatient care. The Hamilton Center also provides programs for gambling addiction, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and case management. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and The Matrix Model are some of the ways that people are treated. Hamilton Center is the first certified Matrix Model treatment site in Indiana. Its main focus is on helping pregnant women who have substance use problems and people who use intravenous drugs. The building also runs WIN Recovery, a center for treating opioid abuse. The Joint Commission has given Hamilton Center its seal of approval, which means that all of its services meet high standards of care and safety.
