About us
Cenikor is one of the premier addiction treatment centers in Austin, Texas, offering a full continuum of care with a wide range of services tailored to the needs of individuals seeking recovery. This comprehensive drug rehab center provides inpatient and outpatient programs for adults and youths, as well as short-term drug and alcohol abuse programs. Each program is individualized to meet the unique recovery needs of every client.
In addition to drug and alcohol addiction treatment services, Cenikor offers continued support through recovery housing and alumni programs for individuals who have achieved sobriety. Before accessing these services, clients must engage in one of Cenikor’s substance abuse recovery programs.
The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at Cenikor is led by licensed medical and clinical staff who conduct screenings, assessments, specific classes, early intervention, and recovery services. This comprehensive program involves individuals, groups, and families, addressing chemical dependency, therapy, family recovery planning, codependency disorder education, and gender-specific substance abuse issues.
Cenikor’s supportive inpatient residential treatment program is designed for those ready to commit physically, mentally, and spiritually to substance abuse recovery. This program includes 12-step groups, multi-family educational groups, certification and diploma support, and soft skills training.
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) at Cenikor is recognized as one of the most effective opioid treatments. This program combines FDA-approved medication, such as Suboxone, with psychosocial therapy to reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings safely. MAT includes patient-specific treatment plans, individual counseling, transfers to residential programs, and access to Cenikor’s telehealth services.
The outpatient substance abuse withdrawal management program helps individuals maintain recovery and sobriety in an outpatient setting, providing ambulatory withdrawal management and supervised MAT.
Cenikor also offers a short-term inpatient recovery treatment program that provides non-emergency care in a structured environment. Services include discharge planning, referrals, 12-step group introductions, assessments, screenings, and individual and group counseling.
For youths aged 13 to 17, Cenikor provides an inpatient treatment program operated by licensed staff. This program addresses addiction and supports healthy transitions into adulthood with early intervention, screening, assessments, therapy, and educational services provided by qualified teachers.
Youth outpatient therapy and recovery treatment are available through Cenikor’s youth outpatient treatment program, staffed by licensed counselors who use evidence-based group counseling programs.
At Cenikor, treatment encompasses the whole personโbody, mind, and spiritโexploring underlying issues to address the core of addiction. For nearly six decades, Cenikor has been an advocate for diverse individuals, offering a welcoming environment regardless of age, race, gender, or socioeconomic status. Many of Cenikor’s team members are in recovery, providing relatable and empathetic support.

We understand that choosing an addiction treatment center can be overwhelming, especially with so many options, promises, and marketing messages. Thatโs why weโve developed a clear, standardized rating system designed to cut through the noise and highlight what truly matters: safety, quality of care, and transparency. Our goal is to give individuals and families the information they need to make confident, informed decisions during a critical time.
In this guide, we explain exactly how we rate treatment centersโfrom accreditation and staff credentials to therapy options, facility environment, and family involvement. Youโll see how we assign scores, award badges, and update listings to ensure accuracy and fairness. Most importantly, our system focuses on elevating centers that prioritize ethical, evidence-based care, not just those with the best marketing. This way, you can trust that the ratings you see reflect meaningful standards that help you find the right fit for lasting recovery.
