Using the 12-Step paradigm, Alpha Home, a nonprofit alcohol and drug rehab facility in San Antonio, Texas, offers adults complete addiction treatment with a focus on spiritual development. The clinic provides two main types of care: a regular outpatient program (OP) open to both men and women, and a residential treatment program specifically for women. The foundation of Alpha Home’s strategy is creating a cohesive and encouraging community to promote healing.
Using a holistic “whole person approach,” Alpha Home provides clients with full medical treatment via its Usatine Wellness Center in addition to attending to their social, emotional, and physical needs. With the help of our on-campus wellness facility, residential clients may have regular screenings, primary care, and other health services without ever leaving the school. our ensures that their physical health is continuously monitored and is part of their entire treatment plan.
Alpha Home provides more than just traditional therapy sessions for its patients. It emphasizes how important peer support and social ties are to the healing process. A fundamental component of the program is group therapy sessions, which facilitate clients’ sharing of experiences and mutual learning. Furthermore, Alpha Home promotes active participation in support groups outside of the program for all of its clients, whether they are receiving residential or outpatient treatment. Maintaining sobriety is greatly aided by the continuous support and feeling of community that peer-led groups provide.
Alpha Home seeks to fulfill the multifaceted needs of people on their recovery path by combining medical treatment, spiritual direction, and organized therapy activities. The provision of both internal and external peer support networks, in conjunction with a supportive atmosphere, enables clients to develop resilience, cultivate significant connections, and remain dedicated to their journey towards sustained recovery.
