About us

Bridgeway is a non-profit organization with a broad scope of community-based services and mental health care. It is situated in Galesburg, Illinois. As a devoted human services provider, Bridgeway is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people living in all 20 counties of Illinois. In addition to providing assistance for people with developmental disabilities, the organization also provides family services, community job opportunities, drug misuse treatment, and behavioral health counseling.

Bridgeway was established as a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the goal of helping those in need by offering comprehensive health and human services. The organization offers a wide variety of services and activities that are intended to empower people and assist them in achieving their own objectives, with the purpose of meeting the different needs of the communities it serves. The core tenets of Bridgeway’s strategy include breaking down obstacles to care, encouraging creativity, and consistently raising the quality of services provided.

Bridgeway offers services that fall into three main categories: community and center-based employment opportunities; developmental and intellectual disabilities services, which support people with disabilities; and behavioral health services, which concentrate on mental health and drug abuse treatment. A comprehensive and person-centered approach is ensured by the fact that each of these programs is customized to fit the particular requirements of the people they serve.

Bridgeway’s dedication to quality is shown by its CARF certification, which guarantees that the firm satisfies global requirements for human services and rehabilitation quality. The organization’s commitment to provide top-notch care and consistently raising the standard of living for people it serves is reflected in its certification.

Bridgeway’s services are driven by a keen attention on the requirements and preferences of its clients, removing obstacles and establishing creative routes to help people reach their objectives. Bridgeway continues to be an essential resource for people and families looking for help with mental health, work, and community living because of its wide range of services.
