For people and families struggling with drug use disorders, the Ashland County Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (ACCADA), situated in Ashland, Ohio, provides a wide variety of counseling, treatment, and educational programs. ACCADA is committed to offering assistance by way of individualized treatment plans created to deal with issues connected to drugs and alcohol in a caring and controlled setting.
ACCADA works as a contract agency for the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland County and is fully certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services. In order to decrease drug misuse in the area, the group works with a variety of community partners to create and execute preventative tactics that raise awareness and provide education. In order to improve community education on addiction prevention and treatment, ACCADA frequently schedules training events, provides advisory services, and gives public speeches as part of its outreach program.
Apart from providing counseling and educational services, ACCADA also provides the 3-day Driver Intervention Program (DIP) approved RAP (Responsible Action Program) for those facing driving infractions due to drug or alcohol use. The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services has authorized this program, which integrates education and rehabilitation to assist long-term behavioral change while giving offenders the information and skills to stop such instances in the future.
As part of its ongoing commitment to the community’s welfare, ACCADA works to provide people and families the tools, direction, and encouragement they need to kick drug addiction and live better lives.
