Provigil is the name under which they sell Modafinil. It is is a drug designed to promote wakefulness.
Usually, people use it to treat narcolepsy, sleep apnea as well as many other sleep disorders. It works by increasing the dopamine levels in the brain. As a result, it will increase mental alertness. At the same time, it will decrease fatigue. When dopamine levels increase, it will stimulate the reward centers. This leads to reduced appetite, increased energy levels and in the longer run, weight loss.
First of all, we need a better understanding of how Provigil weight loss works. Therefore, let’s take a quick look at different ways one can lose weight.

Causes Of Provigil Weight Loss

Quite a few factors can lead to the weight loss that goes along with using Provigil. On top of that, it has to do with dopamine:

Loss of Appetite

Many Provigil users feel less hungry when they first start taking it. This is because of the increased dopamine levels.

Enhanced Cognitive Functions

They designed Provigil to improve cognitive function. As a result, it leads to improved mental performance. This leads to making smarter decisions – also in terms of the lifestyle.

Increased Levels of Dopamine

Provigil increases dopamine levels in the brain, which makes a person feel rewarded. When one feels this way, they are less likely to seek pleasures such as food.

Increased Energy

An increase in energy will often lead to more physical activity, aiding in weight loss.

Motivation Boost

Many people who take Provigil will experience a motivation boost. This is due to the increased dopamine levels. Motivation is of course needed when one wants to lose weight.

Actual Physical Activity

As previously mentioned, Provigil tends to up a user’s energy levels. Furthremore, it will improve the motivation to take part in physical activities.

As with any medication, Provigil also has negative side effects. For example, nausea is one of them. As a result, some users can find it very difficult to eat.

Provigil works by increasing cognition and cortical activation. This leads to more self-control, making it just a little easier to lose weight.

Provigil Promoted as A Weight Loss Aid

The main cause of the Provigil weight loss users experience are unknown. On top of that, some users lose weight without putting in any effort to do so. In many cases, they agree that the drug increases the user’s motivation. In addition, they also include stamina, mental, and physical energy. They have said that it enhances the user’s desire to be physically active.
Some users described this drug as having ‘’wondrous effects for weight loss’’. In fact, they say that there is one reason behind the weight loss of Provigil users. It could be the increased energy levels brought on by Provigil. They market it as a ‘’wonder drug’’ that one can take to become smarter while losing those extra few pounds. However, there is a warning for someone taking the drug specifically to lose weight. It is that would have to put in some effort as well. Therefore, do not expect to start losing weight immediately.

How Will Weight Loss Be Influenced?

The amount of weight that a Provigil user might lose will depend on many factors:
First, it is the dosage.
Second, it is the amount of time that the user has been taking Provigil.
Third, it is how active the lifestyle is. Finally, there is the user’s genetics, as well as other medications that the user might be taking.

Provigil Weight Loss: An Easy Way Out?

Someone who has been struggling to lose weight might think that using Provigil could be an easy way to get rid of it. However, it will take time for Provigil weight loss to start working its magic. Of course, this is like with any other weight loss program. It is important to remember that it is the combination of a few things. First is the reduced calorie intake. Then, it is a higher desire for physical activity (such as exercise). Third, is the feeling of satiety when one eats less, as well as a reduced appetite. After some time, the sum of those will set in and help to lose the weight.
It could take up to 12 months before a Provigil user will see any visible results.

Povigil Weight Loss Dosage

Did users take Provigil with the specific intent of losing weight? One should know that there isn’t a recommended dosage for Provigil for this. The initial dose for Provigil is 200mg per day. In addition, the necessary dosage for weight loss can depend on a couple of factors. It is the size of the user and the amount of weight that they wish to lose.

Obtaining Provigil

It is imperative to consult a doctor before attempting to get hold of Provigil. One must always seek advice from a medical professional before starting any medication. No matter how desperate one is to lose weight, speak to the primary doctor first.
Doctor might also be able to advise proper nutrition to aid in a weight loss process. Therefore, let them guide in the right direction. They can also refer a nutritionist, who will work out a diet best suited for an individual. One might also consult with a personal trainer. They will aid in losing weight with the correct exercise routine.

Dangers of Undergoing Provigil Weight Loss

Sometimes, it might seem like just an aid to help to lose weight. However, taking medication to lose weight, comes with certain repercussions. Other than the general side effect from Provigil, there are a few dangers. As a result, one needs to take them into consideration before taking Provigil:

Forgetting to Eat

Sounds like a pro, rather than a con, right? When there is the determination to lose weight, it is easy to become just a little obsessive about it. Also, when one has so much appetite, and forget to eat, it sounds like something to be proud of. It’s not! Health comes first and forgetting to eat can cause many other problems.

  • This links to the statement mentioned above – forgetting to eat. Sometimes, during weight loss journey, one might hear this phrase.
  • One might not be hungry, but thirsty – drink a glass of water instead.

I own a very busy small business. I wake at 4:30 and work till dark. I take modafinil 5 days a week. None on weekends. I dont get tired during the day and I have been taking about 4 months now. The weight loss is very noticeable now. Im not trying to lose weight either as I already eat healthy and take vitamins. All my pants are falling off my waist. Otherwise I have had no other noticeable side effects. I dont really notice it during the day. I just dont get fatigued. Its very unnatural so in that way its kind of like a superpower. Question is, how long can the body take this overexertion? I am sure I will find this out one day
