There is no basketball court. Just a hoop.Food is nasty. I didn’t eat it and only ate vegetables and lost 40 pounds in less than 2 months. With the exception of a few, all staff members were laid off this past summer, this includes therapists and nurses. Their IOP program is ok. They just go over the same crap when you were in residency.Their housing is terrible. Men (4 to room) 1 bathroom. They have eight very small apartments. The ladies have a nice size house but the person in charge of housing is very conniving. One lady is being kicked out of women’s house for throwing away food that is expired and/or has mold on it.She apologized to the individual and offered to replace the food but the individual said so. Director changed her mind but on the next IOP day things were discussed and should not have been disclosed to her (via therapists) Because of this she came in a room and changed her mind and that person has to be out the day after thanksgiving. One lady relapsed on a Wed, Thurs, Fri, this was two weeks ago. Each one of those days she was given the opportunity to return the next day. She did but she was intoxicated which the director did not notice until we said something. On a Sat she was also suppose to show up at house and be put back in the same room and the residents are suppose to act like nothing happened she never showed. She was given all these opportunities. This past weekend (Sun) a female relapsed just this one time and she was told by the director that she had 15 minutes to get her stuff and get out. On the same day there was an incident with the guys. Every male had a breathalyzer and three failed they were kicked out and not given another chance. Three were positive but one confessed before he was tested the one who confessed was not kicked out but the other two were. The 4th person just did not return. They tell you to get a job, sponsor, home group within three weeks. If not working volunteer somewhere.Rent is $125 weekly. A lot of people got jobs only to find out that the director says it is too far. One of their pitches to get residence there is that they will take you to and from job, doctor appointments, grocery shopping or interviews. They started changing the rules. No one will be taken to the doctor unless it is an emergency. One lady just got out the hospital and two days later she asked them to take her to walgreens (about 2 miles each way) they told her to walk and it was 95 degrees. You don’t know the job you accept is considered”too far” while asking them to drop you off. This was mostly done to the women. Volunteer work is considered per director as a leisure activity and the humane society is too far. On days that rent is due they are up your ass for it the first time they see you on due date. The beds are old and raggedly. They sink in the middle. They leave you with stained pillows and mattress covers to hide the horror underneath it
