Overview of The Fellowship Center

The Fellowship Center is a behavioral healthcare and rehabilitation facility for substance abuse victims in Escondido, in the suburbs of San Diego, California. Since it’s founding in the year 1963, this facility has been providing therapy and care to teenaged and adult male clients suffering from alcohol or chemical dependency and related issues.
Treatment at the Fellowship Center commences with a comprehensive assessment after admission. The diagnosis arrived at based on the assessment helps the team at TFC to devise individualized treatment plans for each incoming client. This ensures that every client gets access to specialized care that specifically targets their particular needs.
The facility provides both inpatient and outpatient care to clients. Their inpatient care comprise of programs lasting different durations such as 30-days, 60-days, 90-days, and 120-days. These clients are housed in large rooms furnished with bunk beds shared by up to 5 residents. Bathrooms are located at the end of the hallways in each floor and they are shared by the residents living in each respective floor.
Living rooms and community rooms are also provided in every building for recreational and socializing purposes. The cafeteria-style kitchen provides three meals a day along with additional snacks on-site. The menu comprises a variety of options including fruits, vegetables, salads, etc. Special dietary requirements due to allergies or other medical reasons are also accommodated.

Furthermore, TFC also provides a sober living facility to clients who have already completed their treatment programs. The Fellowship Center Amenities

TLC offers inexpensive rehab facilities on a sliding scale basis depending on prospective clients’ economic background. This enables them to serve more substance abuse victims including those unable to afford the more upscale treatment centers. While they do not offer detox or dual diagnosis support, the issues related to co-occurring disorders can be brought up in any of the group or individual therapy sessions.
This facility also puts an emphasis on sensitizing the family members of substance abuse victims towards the trauma and struggles faced by them. Ray DiCiccio has been associated with the Fellowship Center for almost 5 years. He joined the team at the facility in January 2014.
