How do I go about getting a friend into your program for drug addiction?

My husband Jared is desperately trying to beat his addiction on heroin. He has tried multiple times to come off of it using suboxone strips and the last time it was generic that comes in pill form that dissolve under your tongue just to try to save money. Both of these only made his cravings worse especially the generic pill form. According to him the pills made it worse than trying to come off cold turkey. He did not start going through bad withdrawals until he took either of them. They made it so much worse that he would be set off by the smallest of things and would become extremely volatile and not remember when he came to himeself. I need to know if your facility allows medication to assist in coming off safely. There is no way he can do it without assistance because he has tried multiple times. Whether on suboxone or cold turkey he would become angry and volatile and then not remember what even happened. He desperately wants to be clean but he is going to have help medication assistance. Does your facility allow assistance in coming off safely or is it strictly cold turkey. He also needs something for anxiety. The times he has tried to come off of it at home I have had to give him my klonopin I take for seizures just to try to help him cope. I feel and know that it is too dangerous to just come off without anything. I have worked in the medical field for 14 years and I know coming off without help can cause many health complications including death. We desperately need help from someone. It is a day to day struggle. Thank you so much for allowing me to tell my story. We just need him clean and better and back to the person he used to be.
