Located in the city of Orlando, Pasadena Villa is a residential mental health treatment center which was established in 2002. The facility provides comprehensive, personalized psychotherapeutic and psychiatric care for adults aged 18 and above dealing with severe mental illnesses. The psychiatric center boasts of a comfortable, safe, and highly professional environment. Pasadena Villa also bases its treatment processes and services on its Social Integration Model, an internally developed program which consists of cultural, recreational, and social activities to help prepare each client for life after treatment.

Treatment programs are tailored to each client depending on their specific nutritional, medical, sociological, and therapeutic needs and various evidence-based therapy options such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) are also offered on-site. The facility has a highly trained staff consisting of certified psychiatrists, therapists, and psychotherapists capable of providing effective treatment to address mental health disorders such as depression, psychosis, bipolar and anxiety disorders, and autism. Drug addiction recovery and dual diagnosis support are also offered at the center. The Pasadena Villa Network of Psychiatric Services provides residential treatment programs at two of its locations—The Villa in Orlando and the Smoky Mountain Lodge in Tennessee—and outpatient and partial hospitalization programs located at Cary, North Carolina. Additionally, the facility runs a Transitional Living and Learning Center (TLLC) in Orlando for young adults.

Accommodation And Food

The residential treatment facility is co-ed and is capable of accommodating up to 14 people. The building has the feel of a suburban home and each client is given a private room. Food is served at one large table, family style, which the center considers to be a form of group therapy where residents can learn better social skills from staff in a comfortable setting. Dietary restrictions are accommodated and on-site dieticians work closely with residents in order to form healthy meal plans.

Length of stay at the facility is usually dependent upon the progress of the patient as defined by the patient’s treatment team but most people receive residential treatment for about 3-4 months.
