Manatee Glens, located in the city of Bradenton, south of Tampa is a behavioral health center for individuals suffering from addiction, substance abuse, and mental health disorders. The facility also has programs for teens, less intensive than the adult services, which seeks to help substance-addicted, struggling youth achieve long-lasting recovery. The hospital offers emergency mental health services and has special programs for persons suffering from trauma, suicidal thoughts, and co-occurring mental disorders. Patients are offered Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) which may include drugs like anti-depressants and mood stabilizers to guide them into a comfortable detoxification process. Residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs are also made available for patients.

Manatee Glens Advantages

Discharge plans such as community support group meetings and family counseling are offered to clients and their loved ones after the completion of an inpatient program. The scheduled visiting times are Mondays to Thursdays between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm and visitors bringing in children below 12 years old must gain approval from the staff in charge before coming to visit. The hospital which merged with Cornerstone Behavioral Health provides 24-hours medical care to patients admitted in the facility and also follows a strict set of rules daily that patients must adhere to.
