Individual and group therapy areas are very close to the bedrooms. Although there are no pay phones at the detox unit, pay phones are provided for clients to use with a phone card. There are no visiting hours and family members are only allowed to visit during the family treatment program. The center is smoke-free. Food at the facility is served in the dining room, cafeteria style. Patients and family members are prohibited from bringing food to the facility as this constitutes a health hazard. The meals served are heavy and a salad bar is made available for clients. A staff dietician is available at the facility and accommodation is made for dietary restrictions.

Clients are advised to call the facility during the intake process so that the finance staff will contact the insurance company to discover the benefits covered for such client and the procedure for admission. The facility will provide pre-certification assessments to the insurance company to prove that such a client meets the criteria to need this level of care and gain approval for admission.

The facility allows clients to call their loved ones but at a limited time and for a particular number of minutes or hours. Payphones are at strategic places in the rehab units for the patients to use but are not available at all at in the detox units. Visiting is not allowed at all, family and loved ones are only allowed into the facility for the family therapy program. All packages sent to the facility are thoroughly searched before they are given to the patients and if contraband is found, it will be destroyed.
Smoking is prohibited at the facility and families and loved ones of a patient are not allowed to bring food into the facility during the family treatment program. Barbers and Hairdressers are not available to patients registered at the facility and might be a serious consideration for clients who are looking into gaining treatment at this center. Patients not comfortable with the mode of treatment can leave at any time but are required to find their own transportation.
