Dublin Springs Hospital is a young mental health, and addiction treatment facility. The facility provides medically supervised detox, and short-term inpatient stay, no longer than two weeks. The hospital also offers dual diagnosis treatment.

The capacity of the hospital is 72 beds. Two clients share a room, but every patient has their own closet and desk. Laundry washer and dryer are located on-site.

Licensed dietitian creates meal plans that can be customized if needed and three meals and snacks are provided in a cafeteria style.

Dublin Springs: Treatments, Programs, and Staff

During their two-week stay, clients follow a tight schedule attending group therapy sessions on almost every hour. Treatment includes psychotherapy, recreation therapy, coping skills, relapse prevention, and pet therapy. Clients also attend individual counseling based on cognitive-behavioral therapy. They can also use COGNIT—online e-learning and recovery tracking system. The hospital also provides family support therapy.

The staff of the Dublin Springs Hospital includes nurses, social worker, licensed therapists, psychiatrist, patient care assistant, and psychologist. They all work together with a patient to create individualized treatment goals and daily schedule.

Dublin Springs: Facilities and Extras

Dublin Springs Hospital also provides intensive outpatient program and partial hospitalization program. The main goal of partial hospitalization program is reintegration, and therapy sessions are conducted five days a week. Medications can be provided if needed as a part of the program.

The intensive outpatient program includes therapy sessions and various other activities 15 hours a week.

Rules and Regulations in Dublin Springs

Telephone calls with loved ones are allowed and even encouraged. However, they are arranged on a daily schedule, and they can not last longer than 10 minutes. Additionally, daily visits are allowed, along with weekend family meals and educational groups.

In order to assure clients’ safety during treatment, the following items are not allowed on-site:

  • CD-players and similar devices
  • Food outside of the building
  • Glass, metal, or plastic containers
  • Aerosols
  • Weapons
  • Lighters or matches
  • Mobile phones
  • Pornographic material
  • Nail polish and polish remover
  • Picture frames
  • Strings, yarn, or ropes
  • Hygiene products that contain alcohol
  • Notebooks with spiral binder

The cost of a one-day stay in Dublin Springs Hospital is $1,050.
