The first step towards recovery at the Casa Palmera is creating a highly individualized treatment plan that will meet personal needs of a patient.
The center provides residential treatment for following types of addiction:
Partial hospitalization program operates Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. Topics addressed during therapy sessions include anger and stress management, communication, boundaries, co-dependency, 12-step meetings, and education regarding addiction. The treatment consists of individual counseling, group, and family therapy.
The intensive outpatient program includes group therapy, relapse prevention planning, medication management, family education groups, process groups, co-dependency groups, and stress management treatment.
Continuing care includes group meetings every Tuesday from 6:00PM to 7:30PM for up to a year after discharge.
Facilities and Extras
Inpatient facility is fully equipped in order to accommodate needs of each resident. Rooms are private and semi-private. Dietician services are available because the staff emphasizes the importance of healthy eating in the service of recovery.
Clients can also attend yoga and meditation classes, or enjoy koi ponds and beautiful gardens.
Intervention is an additional service center provides to their clients and their families. The professionally guided intervention will more likely be successful than an intervention organized only by family members and friends.
Rules and Regulations at Casa Palmera
Clients are not allowed to consume coffee during their recovery. The contact with the outside world is limited. Moreover, clients are not allowed to utilize social media. Electronic devices, sharp objects, jewelry, food, chemical liquids, CDs, alcohol, drugs, firearms, books not related to the treatment, and similar objects will be confiscated at the admission.
Visitations and computer services are allowed 72 hours after the admission. Patients are permitted to smoke in the designated areas outside.
The length of the stay varies from 30 to 90 days.
