The staff of the center encourages patients to accept they are powerless over their addiction issues, which is one of the central doctrines of the 12-step philosophy. Additionally, Anaheim Lighthouse offers holistic treatment options, as well as individual and group counseling.

Anaheim Lighthouse: Treatments, Programs, and Staff

When a client is admitted to the center due to addiction to alcohol or drugs, the first step towards recovery is a thorough assessment through which the staff creates a highly individualized treatment plan. If needed, medically supervised detox is provided. When a detox phase is completed, a client starts with their residential treatment.

- Individual counseling
- Group therapy
- Family therapy
- Trauma groups
At this level of care, a client receives 6 hours of therapy every day.
Partial hospitalization program is the next point in the continuum of care at the Anaheim Lighthouse center. It helps patients unravel underlying issues and past trauma that might have triggered the addiction.
After partial hospitalization is completed, a client may enroll in the intensive outpatient program. In this phase, the duration of therapy sessions is 3 hours per day. At this stage of the recovery, counselor and patient create together a discharge plan. Additionally, all of the other treatment modalities continue as planned.

Additionally, transportation to the local athletic club is provided. Inpatient facility has recently been renovated and includes a fully equipped kitchen, and a wash and dry service. Clients can also enjoy yoga, meditation, and a picnic and patio area.
Rules and Regulations at Anaheim Lighthouse
A day at the center starts at 7 AM, with breakfast being served at 7:30 AM. Residents then do house chores and personal hygiene. The first group meeting is held from 9 – 11 AM. The lunch is served at 11:15 AM. After lunch, patients attend 12-step meetings and another group session. Before dinner, clients have some free time. Dinner is served at 6 PM. After the meal, clients are encouraged go to the gym. A daily reflection meeting is held from 7:15 to 7:45. Before bedtime, clients attend another group session and have some free time. The lights are out at 10:30 PM. Saturdays are reserved for family therapy sessions and visitations.
Anaheim Lighthouse provides the continuum of care to their clients struggling with alcohol or drug addiction. Treatment includes evaluation, detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient program. The center also provides family support, intervention, dual diagnosis, and alumni services.
