During the intensive outpatient treatment, clients do not stay at the facility. They come for the therapy sessions during the week, and the rest of the time they spend with their loved ones in their community.

Located in the serene environment of Boca Raton, Florida, the center provides a safe haven for both men and women struggling with addiction. Clients stay in private apartments with shared bedrooms and bathrooms. Every apartment can accommodate two patients at a time. Common areas includes kitchen and living room where residents can relax and watch TV. Patients can spend a part of their free time in a beautiful garden outside the apartment.
Clients of the Alternatives in Treatment can enjoy swimming pool and outdoor workout area. Additionally, supervised beach picnics are organized on weekends.
Family members are encouraged to participate in their loved one’s recovery by attending lectures and therapy sessions during family weekends.
Rules and Regulations in Alternatives in Treatment
Residents of the Alternatives in Treatment are not allowed to use laptops and cell phones. However, smoking is permitted in designated outside areas.
Another important rule at the center is that clients have to prepare their own meals. It includes weekly outings to the grocery store.
