The number of substance abuse cases in Michigan is startlingly high. Of all the poisoning incidents recently experienced in Michigan, more than 80% of them were caused by substance dependence. Despite such grim statistics, residents can still get help using these local hotlines to get the best help with their fight against addiction.

Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority

Open 24/7, this help hotline number is for people who need help fighting substance dependence. Patients can rest assured that their information will remain confidential. Charges for treatments are based on a sliding scale depending on income and insurance, but the Michigan hotline number (800)-241-4949 is toll-free.

Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority

The addiction helpline number provides relevant information to people battling addiction or their loved ones. The hotline number is in operation during these hours of the week:

Monday & Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Callers will get referrals to outpatient and intensive inpatient facilities to help them handle their drug and substance addiction. Reach the authority at (248)-464-6363.

Macomb County Community Mental Health Services

People fighting addiction can use this drug helpline to get information on the various facilities in Michigan. Patients’ personal information is kept confidential. The professionals working at the hotline are able to offer relevant referrals, listen and provide support 24/7. Call (586)-307-9100 for medical advice.

Lakeshore Regional Entity

The Lakeshore Regional Entity has a substance abuse hotline open for anyone interested in information how to access services related to drug and alcohol abuse among other services. Call (800)-897-3301 to contact the helpline professionals.

The helpline is open during business hours :

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Patients who call outside these hours or during holidays can leave their personal information and a brief reason for calling. All information is kept confidential.
